Summer Diversity Job Fairs
The fairs are listed in order based on registration deadlines, to the extent that information is available. This list is updated with the Summer 2019 Diversity Job Fairs as we receive it. Please check back regularly for new opportunities.
Throughout the summer, there are numerous diversity job fairs throughout the country. Please note the following about these fairs:
- Many of these fairs are targeted to diverse students who are interested in a particular geographic market.
- Opportunities available through these job fairs are primarily for summer 2020 positions.
- Some fairs are limited to certain class years whereas others are open to all law students, including recent graduates. Be sure to check the eligibility requirements.

|Employers will be hiring clerks or interns, not offering permanent placement; they will expect to interview 2Ls or those graduating spring 2021/2022 based on full or part-time status.|

|The goal of the National Black Prosecutors Association’s (NBPA) Job Fair is to promote diversity in prosecutors’ offices by providing a forum where law students, recent law graduates, and experienced attorneys from across the nation can meet and interview with prospective prosecutorial employers at the local, state, and federal levels.|

|Since its inception in 1988, Lavender Law® has served as a ‘family reunion’ for LGBTQ+ and ally legal professionals to both look back at our shared history and to look forward to the future of the legal profession. The Lavender Law® Conference & Career Fair is the largest LGBTQ+ legal conference in the country with approximately 1700 attendees attending annually.|

|Any interested law student can participate. Although the Job Fair’s focus is fostering access to employment opportunities for persons historically underrepresented in the practice of law, no student will be denied an opportunity to participate. Last year about 150 law students from law schools across the country participated. The majority of these were second-year law students.|
